Sgt Peppers
#83145 / viewed 14390 timesThis is my homage to Peter Blake’s iconic Beatles album cover. I lost count of how many hours it took, it was a lot! See how many people / characters you recognize. Not including the Beatles, there are 38 I think!

I did it because it seemed a good idea at the time.
I created it using Photoshop, about fifty layers in all!
I lost count of how long it took; it became a labour of love.
I should probably be receiving treatment from an optometrist and a
Psychiatrist for even attempting it!!!

One of these days I will also upload my take of the iconic Abbey Road crossing photo...
I would really like to know a bit more about this image… like… was it a commission or a personal project? Illustration for a book? Magazine? Newspaper? Poster?... also what did you use? Illustrator? Photoshop? Corel?... How many hours/days/weeks/months it took you to research the photos or did you already have them in your files?... do you receive money under the table from optometrists and psychiatrists to produce such images?
